MAKROCLEAR® SQ is produced on advanced extrusion lines and quality selected on line with outstanding clarity, less distortions and ripples. MAKROCLEAR® SQ has excellent optical properties and is designed to compete with glass like applications. The product is frequently replacing glass in continuous glazing applications. QUALITY
MAKROCLEAR® SQ has an outstanding high clarity and surface quality, making it the best choice for replacing other transparent plastics and glass. The constant high quality level also helps to improve machining and glazing.
FIRE PERFORMANCE
In case of a fire, a MAKROCLEAR® SQ sheet will melt and create a passage where heat and smoke can be vented or will be let out . It will have no contribution to the growth of a fire through flame spread. Complying requirements to EN 1794.
IMPACT STRENGTH
MAKROCLEAR® has more than 10 times the impact strength of high impact PMMA and more than twice the impact strength of PETG, yet is very easy to thermoform or cold bend into complex shapes.
APPLICATION AREAS
The selective quality properties of MAKROCLEAR® SQ makes it a perfect solution for glazing, machine protection, safety glazing, ice hockey rinks, visors, optical distortionfree parts, vandal protection, soundwalls / sound barriers etc.
